Soot, DJ Rupture’s imprint specialised on Cumbia and global sounds y la casa de Filastine y Maga Bo, drops a new Cumbia compilation compiled by Sonido Martinez from Buenos Aires. A DJ and producer I was happy to meet and drink whiskey with on a party in Passing Clouds earlier this year in London. Among the tracks from his Buenos Aires focused compilation “Nueva Cumbia Argentina” are productions from known faces such as El Hijo de la Cumbia, Damas Gratis and DJ Taz.
Sonido Martinez himself drops a mash up of a traditional from Los Destellos and a bassy Fefe (aka Lil Monsta) ripped track, originally released on Crunchtime here in Vienna.
