Just got this new mixtape from Sylordub (Pedro D´Alessandro) in my inbox and like it. Pedro is resident at Switch Club in Argentina, which opened it´s door recently last year in September and will reopen after Argetinian winter slowly draws back. Furthermore Switch Club is more like a creative meeting place, where DJ´s, VJ´s, street artists and video gamers get together equally and where different styles just flow together. I like even more! And they require dancers for the dancefloor. Shoot, that´s my place.

“Switch Club is a freestyle dancefloor, that propose different rhythms (different from the music people of this city are used to listen) and new dancing steps: our dancefloor requires daring dancers!
We dedicate our club to a wide variety of styles like funk, dance hall, reggaeton, bastardpop, hip hop, bmore, electronic cumbia, electro, mashups, hip house and more.
The place’s esthetics is very cool. We try to summon different kind of artists to our club, like VJs, DJs, designers, street artists, or actors, because we are related to graphic design, fashion and urban styles. We also have lots of video games (arcades, PS3 and Wii) inside the place and we try to incorporare new technology all the time!

Plus, Codoba is the place where cuarteto comes from, ché! Pedro´s mix doesn´t only contain this of course, it´s more a broad mix of cumbia, bass, some dubstep influences, psy electro and very dancefloor friendly. Many of thr known cumbia people in there as well, like Uproot Andy, Largatijeando, Sonido del Principe and more.
