The Peronists
March 5, 2009 · 1 Comment
It seems that Argentina is upbringing a lot of friki funny producers and musicians lately, who share a mutual love for Cumbia and Latin electrified tunes! The Peronists are one of them, hailing from Buenos Aires to rule the world with their sound between Trance and Cumbia. An album is in the making. I just got two tracks from them, one of them being a hip hop cumbianized banger originally from The Notorious B.I.G., and the other one a Cumbia electro track.
The see what Argentinians do after drinking lot’s of Mate and eating lots of Dulce de Leche, check the Notorious B.I.G. video here:
And then listen to the Cumbia Version of it here:
The Peronists – Big Poppa Flow Us From Sky
Yes, but we need the content part still. So what is Peronism and what is a Peronist then? To get more info please check Wikipedia again (ok, I’m a bit lazy), but here goes an excerpt for you:
Peronism (Spanish: Peronismo), or Justicialism (Spanish: Justicialismo), is an Argentine political movement based on the ideas and programs associated with former President Juan Perón and his second wife, Spiritual Leader of the Nation of Argentina Eva Perón. Perón’s party, the Partido Justicialista (which lives on to this day), derived its name from the Spanish words for “justice” (justicia) and “socialist” (socialista).
Here we go, as social networks spread over the internet, so spreads Socialism through music. More or less
